Posterous feature suggestion: Email signature removal

The single most useful feature of Posterous is the ability to write blog posts via email. It's the whole selling point, to me at least. Unfortunately, I work for a company that appends a signature disclaimer to the end of every email I send. I have no control over this - it's added after I hit 'send'!

It'd be great if Posterous had an option to delete signatures before posting. Most email uses dashes (---), or similar, to seperate the signature, and I imagine this could be used.

I agree. I know LIveJournal has the dashes thing to remove email signatures. I think it'd be a great option in posturous as well.

We try to catch some common cases, but don't always get them all. I'm actually working on improving this soon. But also, you can end your post with #end and we won't post anything that comes after it

thanks

That's great Sachin. As usual you are a few steps ahead of me! The #end trick will work fine for me :)

What about RSS feeds for comments (both global and post-specific)?
With Wordpress, simply appending "/feed" to a post's URL gets you the respective comments - it'd be nice to have the same option here.
