Posterous comments = FAIL

I had a direct tweet with some feedback to my first post:

I'd leave a comment (re tags), but Posterous requires me to sign up first - FAIL!

I think he raises a good point. Can we have OpenID support? Disqus or FriendFeed integration? Or just the ability to enable comments to non-Posterous users? Seems like a pretty basic omission to me...

EDIT: My bad... see the comments. It turns individual Posterous users can enable anonymous comments. And I have! Thanks (again!) Sahchin.

You can enable anonymous comments. Click "edit my posterous" and you can let anyone comment. The default setting is to allow commenting by Posterous users only, so that people don't get crazy comment spam. But you can enable non Posterous commenting as well (and we have spam filters in place on the commenting)

thanks

Tsk tsk foomandoonian, I can't believe you didn't check your options first before saying that posterous fails. Enabling anonymous comments was the first thing I found when I looked around. FOOOMANFAIL? :-P

Sachin, thanks! I hope not all your users give you as much grief as I have been.
Calophi... FOOMANFAIL? You cut me deep, but I deserved it. I promise to be more thorough in future ;)

Haha! Keep up the good work, though, Foomandoonian. I wouldn't know about all these cool things if you didn't go out and find them and try them.
